Alan has worked with individuals affected by HIV, Addiction and Homelessness for many years. Using Case Management, One to One Work, Brief Therapeutic Interventions and Group Facilitation he has provided support to many people throughout his career. Alan believes in working from a compassionate place to support people to achieve and reach their full potential and feels it is a privilege to witness part of that journey. Alan has worked with Open Heart House for over a decade, where he supported and cared for people with HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis C and the LGBT and Migrant Communities. He also has a wealth of experience working with a variety of homeless services such as one night only services, transitional housing, STA ( Supported Temporary Accommodation) and HSE Cocooning service. Alan has experience of Health and Safety Compliance and legislation and developing organisation policies. Most recently Alan has been a Case Manager with Chrysalis in HSE Social Inclusion HUB Summerhill Dublin 1 and also the clinical team in HSE Addiction Services City Clinic Amiens Street & HSE Addiction Services Thompson Centre Grange Gorman Primary Care
